“The Jaguar I-PACE has an elegant, aerodynamic design and it offers excitement from every angle you view it from,” says Jaguar Land Rover’s Sales Guide, Michael Hamlin.
The I-PACE is also Jaguar’s first all-electric car.
“It goes 0 to 60 mph in 4.5 seconds and generates 394 horsepower with an amazing 512 pounds of torque,” explains Hamlin. “Jaguar has been racing in the Formula E Championship since 2016 and, in 2018, the I-PACE became the world’s first all-electric, production-based international race series. The car is electrifying to drive and watch. The sleek design is a true head-turner and makes you feel proud when you step out of it.”
With the obvious perk of not needing to pay at the pump whenever you need to fill up, electric cars also have other advantages.
“Besides getting tax benefits, electric cars are cheaper to maintain and run,” says Hamlin. “Battery electric vehicles (BEV) have fewer moving parts than a conventional petrol or diesel engine and our battery comes with an eight-year, 100,000-mile guarantee.
“The convenience of not having to stop for fuel when your day is busy enough is another benefit. The car has a 234-mile range which makes it great for commuters who have a lot of local driving each day. It’s also great for families who are busy juggling their children’s school and sports schedules. Once you get home, you just plug it in for the night and it will be ready to go in the morning.”
Working with customers at the dealership, Hamlin has come across a few common misconceptions when it comes to electric cars.
“People think they’re slow – which is not accurate at all,” smiles Hamlin. “This car competes in international races. Some people aren’t able to see the financial savings of the car. If you only count up the savings from less-frequent maintenance routines and fuel, the I-PACE is way more cost-effective in the long run.”
In addition to charging at home overnight, the ChargePoint BEV network has over 41,000 charging spots across the country, including stations from 12 different manufacturers. And that number is continuing to grow.
The I-PACE’s eye-catching exterior is matched by its modern and brilliant interior.
“The interior design is clean and uncluttered,” says Hamlin. “The inboard technology is very intuitive for any customer regardless of their level of knowledge with technology. The integrated technology with the Touch Pro Duo Infotainment system is totally cool.
“And without thinking about the look and the fact that it’s an electric car, the control you have when you’re behind the wheel of the I-PACE is amazing and you feel totally secure on the road.”

Bigger Interiors
The I-PACE’s electric motor takes up less space and opens up valuable real estate for more legroom and headroom for both driver and passengers.
There’s also more space for the things that need to travel with you like suitcases, soccer balls and the shopping. The Jaguar designers added a 0.43-cubic-ft. storage bin under the center armrest, an additional 0.95-cubic-ft. compartment under the front hood and a 25.3-cubic- ft. rear cargo space.
