Sharing the Warmth, Beauty and Festivities of the Holidays

What interior holiday décor are you dreaming of this year? Have you even had time to think about it?

The reality is, the holidays are right around the corner. Whether you’re imagining one Christmas tree or three, a bare-bones mantle with minimal greenery, or a front entry that looks and smells like a full pine forest, Robin Buop, owner and head designer at Botanica, invites you to stop by for an invigoratingly fresh breath of holiday decorating inspiration.

Been toying with the idea of making the leap from decking your halls in traditional red and green to creating a more elegant, lush Christmas at Midnight look in navy white, and silver? Botanica offers a treasure trove of sparkling stars, twinkling lights, and crystal ornaments adorned with soft silver accents.

Perhaps you’ve always wanted to transform your home into a Snowy Nature Retreat for the winter holidays. Buop and her talented team of designers are happy to help you choose and combine just the right elements for giving your entire home – or just one room – the aura of a magical forest of snow, birch and overall woodland elegance.

Other uniquely decorated themed areas of the store designed to sweep you off your tired feet and into a cheery holiday spirit this year include Cozy Farm House Chic, showcasing Botanica’s own fun rendition of the popular  farmhouse trend; Aspen Holiday, for those who fancy their castle a cozy Colorado ski lodge throughout the colder months; and Arctic Winter Wonderland, chockfull of icicles, snowflakes, polar bears and penguins. Home for the Holidays displays the perfect candlelight ambiance just right for cozying up in a toasty blanket with a glass of wine, or Santa settling in to enjoy his milk and cookies.

Botanica’s holiday floor sets are a festive combination of current color and décor trends gleaned from market and customers’ requests, explains Buop. “We put a different spin on each area every year. Tones of red might be different, or we use lime green one year and avocado or forest green the next. It depends on what is available at market and where our inspirations lie.”

You can catch a glimpse of this year’s holiday fare and finery now, but for the full display you will want to attend Botanica’s annual Open House to be held Nov. 3 and 4, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.  You might want to arrive a tad early, too. “We always have customers lined up out front,” Buop says, and everything is 15 percent off.

For those who love the idea of decorating their homes for the holidays but find it a headache, or can’t decide how to pull it all together, Botanica offers in-home decorating consultation. And Buop and her design team are happy to do the actual decorating for you, too.
