We are proud to recognize entrepreneurial excellence in our region with the John F. Barrett Entrepreneur Vision Awards.
Nominee Submissions
The 2023 John F. Barrett Entrepeneur Vision Award Winners will be named at a small evening reception hosted by invitation in October. We are now accepting nominations in our four categories through July 21.
The categories and criteria are:
Startup Businesses
A young company that has been founded in the last 3-5 years.
Shows strong product development, market strategy and organizational culture
Active on social media
Entrepreneur in the Enterprise
An entrepreneurial-driven for-profit company that is an innovator with ideas, goods, services or procedures in business for 5+ years.
Developed a product or service that has produced revenue growth within the last 2 years.
Active on social media
Minority & Women-Owned Businesses
A company that is 51% owned and controlled by at least one person that is a minority or woman.
Possesses a clear vision of mission, who they serve, and provides exemplary customer service
Active on social media
Family & Privately Held Businesses
A company that has two or more family members involved or is owned/controlled by a family or a company that is wholly owned by individuals and in business for 3+ years.
Possesses a value system which builds relationships with the business and community and provides exemplary customer service.
