Furniture Fair: Perfect Fit

Furniture Fair: Perfect Fit

Mattress shopping can be absolutely exhausting.

You channel your inner Goldilocks, hoping to determine which mattress is too soft, which one is too firm, and which one is j-u-u-u-s-t right. Only problem is, after lying down on a dozen or more mattresses, you can’t recall which one you liked best.

Thankfully, the expert team at Furniture Fair’s Fields Ertel location in Loveland takes the guessing game out of mattress shopping. Their bedMATCH diagnostic system quickly and easily pairs you with the mattress best suited for your body type and sleeping position.

“We’re the only company in the area that has the bedMATCH machine,” says Derek Springate, store manager. “It asks you a series of questions. Then you lie down on the mattress and the machine scans your body. It narrows down the process so that instead of having to look at 15 to 20 mattresses, you concentrate on five, which is much less overwhelming.”

And, while bedMATCH recommends the necessary support, customers get to pick their mattress comfort level.

“We utilize technology to make sure customers make the best pur- chase possible,” says Craig Daniels, Furniture Fair marketing director.

Furniture Fair takes pride in building relationships with their customers, whether they are purchasing a new mattress, a bed to go with it, or a lamp for the living room. They do that by being forthright and honest. If by chance they don’t carry a particular piece of furniture or a home accessory you’re looking for, they will suggest you check out Company X to find that product.

“Our job is to educate the consumer on furniture and then lead them to the best buying decision,” says Springate. “So, if it’s something that we can’t get, we’re going to try to lead the customer in the right direction.”

In addition to bedMATCH, other handy tech tools at the Furniture Fair sales team’s disposal are the iPads they carry, allowing them to access a product database with the touch of a finger rather than having to go to a kiosk to check inventory, look up product information, or search for expected delivery dates.

“This allows us to answer every customer question when we are right there with them,” says Springate. “We’re trying to make it more convenient for the consumer because, while we want to spend as much time with them as they like, we also want to be mindful of their time.”

The Furniture Fair Fields Ertel location provides an on-site design center where customers and designers collaborate, creating spaces that show what the customers’ homes could look like with their new furniture included.

They carry a vast selection of in-stock living room, dining room, and bedroom products, available for next day delivery, in their newly remodeled 76,000-square-foot showroom. In-stock products and next- day delivery are almost unheard of these days, given the distribution issues COVID-19 has caused.

Furniture Fair boasts a wide variety of vendors, including Stickley, a top-of-the-line brand based out of New York that enjoys a unique following in Cincinnati. They also sell lamps, rugs, end tables, art, and accessories.

A family-owned-and-operated business since 1963, Furniture Fair not only sells quality furniture at a fair, guaranteed low price, they also employ a professionally trained in-house delivery team that offers removal services. They’ll bring in your new furniture and carry out your old pieces on the same day.

Heart & Soul

The Furniture Fair team cares a great deal about the local community, which is why they have always been huge supporters of two foundations — the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) and the Anthony Muñoz Foundation, which helps impact the lives of Greater Cincinnati area youth.

“We’ve raised more than $1.5 million for LLS and hundreds of thousands of dollars for the Anthony Muñoz Foundation,” says Daniels. They love maintaining an active role in their local com- munities and doing their part to help those in need. “From the very beginning, Furniture Fair has always been focused on giving back to the local community. Our community is the heart and soul of our business, and we want to ensure that we support people where we can.”
