David and Jan Lazarus, owners of Water Tower Fine Wines, have been busy planning for an exciting summer at the wine shop.
On select Sundays, wine lovers are invited to join Water Tower Fine Wines for a three-hour Sunday Sampler from 3 to 6 p.m. On average guests will enjoy eight to 12 wines at multiple price points. Light bites carefully prepared by Chef Jan will be available to complement the style of wine featured. The first Sunday Sampler will be held on May 3, space is limited so reservations are required.
Water Tower Fine Wines will continue to offer a weekly Friday tasting from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. The Friday tastings are the perfect way to unwind after a busy week. Reservations are not required. Guests can sample four to eight wines at various price points while enjoying light hors d’oeuvres.
In addition to hosting weekly wine tasting, Water Tower Fine Wines is also available to host small gatherings such as baby showers, birthday celebrations or book clubs, to name a few. If interested guests are encouraged to notify the staff in advance to ensure the desired space is available.
The large shaded deck is the perfect place to enjoy a glass of wine outside, while staying cool. The deck is always open and can accommodate more than 30 guests.
As the warm weather approaches Water Tower Fine Wines will begin breaking ground on an expansive renovation. The renovation will include the addition of an area for wine education, a commercial kitchen and a living room like seating area with TVs perfect for enjoying a glass of wine while watching your favorite team.
“The new addition will be completed late this summer,” says Jan. “A lot of new things are coming, so guests are encouraged to stay tuned!"
