Pyramid Hill Hosts Canines & Wine Benefitting Animal Friends Humane Society

Greater Cincinnati - Pyramid Hill Sculpture Park and Museum is happy to announce our annual Canines & Wine happy hour!

Canines & Wine is back on Friday, August 27th from 6:00 – 8:00pm with expanded programming for the event. Guests, including furry ones, will be treated to live music by Cincinnati based musician, Your Ol’ Pal Don Pruett.  Attendees can also turn their pup’s paw print into a masterpiece with a pet friendly art making activity!

Pyramid Hill will again be collecting donations for the Humane Society as admission for this event; bring a bag of pet food or two bags of treats to enter. Guests who do not bring donations will pay general Park admission to access this event.

Animal Friends Humane Society will be present on the 27th with their Petmobile to do on site adoptions.  “We are very excited to have the Humane Society back for Canines & Wine” says Pyramid Hill’s Art and Programming Manager, Gabi Roach. “Since the Park is pet friendly, we have a great opportunity to partner with Animal Friends to get these animals interfacing with the public and hopefully, adopted to a forever home. It’s also a lot of fun to see our Park members out with their own furry friends.”

"Animal Friends is fortunate to partner with Pyramid Hill for a second event this year” says Animal Friends Humane Society’s Executive Director, Tara Bowser. These public events are crucial in helping us find loving homes for the animals in our care, as well as to help spread awareness of the vast programs and services that our non-profit organization offers to our community. We can't wait to meet and mingle with fellow animal lovers!"

Guests can grab a drink from the Grand Pavilion bar and enjoy the live music here, take your furry friend on a stroll through Pyramid Hill’s 330-acre park or enjoy a rousing game of fetch with complementary tennis balls and frisbees.

“Hey buckaroos, Your Ol’ Pal Don Pruett is excited to play some music and help our furry friends,” says singer-songwriter, Don Pruett. “The only thing better than ‘Beer and Wine’ is Canines & Wine.”

While at the event you can also purchase a Pyramid Hill Pet Package which includes a Pyramid Hill bandana, a pet waste bag dispenser, two homemade dog treats, and a sticker of Janice, Pyramid Hill’s favorite feline friend. The Pet Package can also be purchased from our website - www.pyramidhill.org/shop.
