Raised in Northern Kentucky but living in Chicago with her fiancée, Anne Vierling made the decision to return to her roots for her wedding.
Anne and Chris Vierling were married October 26, 2013, at the Cincinnati Art Museum. Anne and Chris originally met on a blind date, and their relationship culminated in a romantic candlelit proposal in Anne’s Chicago apartment.
When planning their wedding, they originally wanted to stay in Chicago, but found Cincinnati to be more budget friendly. The couple said their vows in the courtyard of the Cincinnati Art Museum in front of 130 guests, and then moved inside to the Great Hall to continue the celebration.
“My favorite part of the wedding was how personal the ceremony was," says Anne. "Chris’s brother did the officiating and those doing readings picked their own, so it was entertaining to see what they chose."
With a cake by the BonBonnerie and flowers by Robin Wood, this elegant wedding was perfect for the Chicago couple.
