On a rainy, yet beautiful day in September, David Boldt and Jamie Rogers vowed to love, respect and devote their lives to one another in holy matrimony. From the day they met, they both knew that they were destined to be together. Two weeks into their relationship, they looked into the other’s eyes and simultaneously said, “I love you” for the first time.
“I can’t remember exactly who blurted out, ‘let’s get married!’” Jamie says. “But we both instantly agreed. He officially asked later in the gardens of our church over sushi, it was perfect.”
They planned to marry in that same garden where David first proposed, but the weather had a different plan. “I was making new arrangements for our ceremony. Our options were limited and I called our florist, Desiree, with The Flowerman and she created a miracle. I cannot express how she was able to transform the space with the most beautiful flowers. From my bouquet, to the ceremony flowers and the gorgeous reception centerpieces, the flowers were the visual highlight of the wedding and I couldn’t be happier!
“We felt so blessed by the love and support of our family and friends who celebrated with us. We were especially grateful to my best friend, Theresa, and her boyfriend, Mike, who graciously opened their beautiful home for our tented reception. It was the most amazing day created by amazing people.”
